Bee's Botanicals

Rebecca, or "Bee" as we affectionately call her, has taken a shine to the beautiful translucent features of our glycerin base and botanical options for a special soap line. She uses locally sourced dried flowers and herbs and accompanies them with some of the amazing scents out there.

Glycerine soap has many skin and health benefits such as it easily penetrates the skin and fills in fine lines and promotes skin regeneration, resulting in a more supple, youthful, and radiant complexion. Glycerin soaps and cleansers are suitable for mature, oily, and acne-prone skin types, and are especially effective on dry and sensitive skin. Some other benefits of this soap are:

  • Moisturizing - Glycerin is a humectant that draws moisture from the air and locks it into the skin, keeping it hydrated and less likely to become irritated. It can also pull moisture from deeper layers of the skin to the surface, helping the skin moisturize itself. Glycerin soap can leave skin feeling moisturized for hours after use.
  • Anti-aging - Glycerin can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and stretch marks.

  • Protective barrier - Glycerin can form a protective barrier on the skin that may help shield it from environmental irritants.

  • Exfoliating - Glycerin can soften the top layer of skin, making it easier to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. This can brighten the skin and minimize the appearance of dark spots, scars, and age spots.

  • Non-greasy - Glycerin soap is a good choice for people with oily or combination skin because it's non-greasy.

  • Compatible with all skin types - Glycerin soap can be used by people of all ages and with any skin type, including mature, oily, and acne-prone skin.

  • Glycerin soap can also be used in hair care to promote a healthy scalp and softer, more manageable hair.

While glycerin soap doesn't usually have many reported side effects, it's a natural product and there's always a chance of an allergic reaction. If you experience redness, itching, or a rash, you should stop using the product immediately.

Lavender Fields Forever

Lavender gets its name from the Latin word "lavare" ("to wash"). Lavender played a big part by the Greek Romans in the first century A.D. with its medicinal and antiseptic healing properties.
